Champions to vie for Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo World Crown

Vallelunga, Campagnano Di Roma, Italy. Automobili Lamborghini today confirmed an international field for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo World Finals at Vallelunga this weekend.

The inaugural event at the 4.085 km circuit outside Rome that brings together the three Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series from Europe, Asia and North America, will deliver a World Champion following two 50 minute races on Saturday November 23.

Key among the entries announced today are two series champions – Autocarrozzeria Imperiale's Andrea Amici (ITA), who claimed in the European series title in the final race of the season at the Nürburgring, and Change Racing's Kevin Conway, the former NASCAR driver and winner of the very first North America Super Trofeo series. Asia fields a strong contingent including drivers who have won races and visited the podium during the 2013 season.

Both champions will be seeking to supplement strong seasons in their respective series with the World Title. But with 15 entries from Europe, a batch of cars from the US and eight drivers from the Asian Series, the grid contains 12 different nationalities from the Ukraine to Malaysia, from Indonesia to the USA and the two 50 minute races will be a great acid test for the respective talents from the three regional series.
