Filippo Perini

Filippo Perini was born in Piacenza (North-eastern Italy) on the 13th of April 1965. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano where he also took a Master's degree in Automobile Design at the Faculty of Architecture. In 1993, as a freelance designer, he worked with Alfa Romeo, FIAT Auto, MET Helmets, Aprilia, BCS, Ferrari, Castoldi Jet, Cantieri Nautici and Off Corse.From 1993 to 1995 he was consultant for FAST (Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations) for funding project evaluations and patenting analysis.In 1995 Filippo Perini became Car Designer of the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, where he worked on interior and exterior design projects such as GTV and Spider, as well as Restyling, 156, 166, concept car Nuvola and SUV Kamal. In 2001 Filippo Perini was appointed as Director of Exterior Design for Alfa Romeo 159 and concept car 8C Competizione.
