Super sports athleticism is the perfect blend of beauty, adrenaline and lifestyle in ‘The Moment Before Performance’, the new video from Lamborghini
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 27 May 2026 – At the first encounter between Italian long jumper Larissa Iapichino and the Lamborghini Temerario[1], the gold-medallist smiles and says: “She’s a beautiful girl. She is powerful, she has grace and beauty.”
The Temerario is in good company. Long jumper Larissa is at the top of her game, most recently winning a gold medal for Italy at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships and a silver medal at the 2026 World Indoor Championships, and is the only Italian woman to reach two Diamond League finals in 2024 and 2025. She now heads into the 2026 outdoor season, culminating in the European Championships and the World Athletics Ultimate Championships.
Like the Temerario, Larissa is mesmerising: physically honed and focused not only on performance but how her sporting prowess and deep sense of self-knowledge is reflected in her lifestyle. She works daily to produce exceptional athletic achievements while continuing her law studies and, when not in her team’s sporting uniform is a fashionista with a refined sense of personal colour and style.
“I like to be a lot of things at the same time, it’s important to know yourself, to trust in your abilities,” says Larissa. “That shows in how I approach life, my athletics, my studies, how I look. I express my own style. I like to be prepared, dressed and ready for anything. I can be quiet, elegant, defined but with boldness, a spice. Sport, design, fashion are all similar: to be the best, to produce that special something that sets one apart, there must be the utmost attention to detail.”
In the new video from Lamborghini ‘The Moment Before Performance’ Larissa Iapichino encounters the Temerario. Two remarkable personalities with sports, power and a zest for life at their heart…
“I am many things at the same time, a split personality. In sport I am fearless, strong and motivated, but there must also be power, elegance and poise in long jump. My engine roars into life the moment I commence the run-up: without the right impulsion and precision it won’t be a successful jump. And the moment before take-off, everything must come together. It is an instant suspended in time, combining every moment of preparation, every hour of training. I convert the pressure to push through the limits and for a second the world stops: this is my launch control moment.”
When the chequered flag control button on its steering wheel is turned, and the driver selects Corsa ‘race’ mode, the Lamborghini Temerario activates its own launch control, propelling itself from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. Like an athlete at the top of their game, the Lamborghini Temerario fuses power, performance and turns heads with its confident, instantly definable appearance and lifestyle credentials: the Temerario as capable on the track as it is in everyday life. It combines a new V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors for a total power output of 920 CV, and is the first and only production super sports car able to reach 10,000 rpm. The High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) delivers Lamborghini’s electrification philosophy: ultimate sporting performance with emissions reduction and a super sports car for every day of life.
