Super sports car model redefines the limits of performance
Lisboa, 24 March 2025 – The new Lamborghini Temerario[1] has made its debut in Portugal at an exclusive event in Lisbon, offering customers, media, and partners their first chance to experience the Italian brand’s latest super sports car in person.
The unveiling of the company’s second HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) took place at a distinguished riverside venue along the Tagus river, in the storied Belém district, framed by some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. In the glow of the early evening, over 150 select guests were immersed in a refined and contemporary ambiance, with the city of Lisbon as a striking backdrop.
The Temerario represents a significant milestone in automotive engineering, pairing a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors to deliver a combined hybrid output of 920 CV and 800 Nm of torque. The combustion engine, developed entirely at Automobili Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, reaches an extraordinary maximum speed of 10,000 rpm, delivering peak power of 800 CV between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm. A new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures rapid, seamless shifts, while the flat-plane crankshaft, typical of racing car engines, guarantees smooth performance and a thrilling, unmistakable sound.
Thanks to its cutting-edge aerodynamics, the Temerario delivers a 118% increase in aerodynamic efficiency compared to the Huracán EVO, rising to 158% in the Alleggerita package. Alleggerita also benefits from a weight reduction of 12.65 kg over the standard model, with the potential for an additional 25 kg reduction when equipped with optional features such as carbon fiber wheels and lightweight interior components.
When it comes to performance, the Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 340 km/h. Its new ultra-lightweight aluminium spaceframe offers a 20% boost in torsional rigidity, delivering outstanding driving dynamics and a more spacious, comfortable cockpit for both driver and passenger.
The Portuguese debut of the Lamborghini Temerario underscores the brand’s leadership in the super sports car segment, blending innovation, exclusivity, and an electrifying driving experience — a moment to remember for all high-performance enthusiasts.
