The Sant’Agata Bolognese-based company continues its initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion among its employees
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 4 May 2026 – May marks European Diversity Month, and for Automobili Lamborghini it is also an opportunity to reflect on a commitment that goes beyond a yearly observance and is translated every day into concrete policies and initiatives for the people who work at the company.
Douglas Arrighi Pereira, Chief People, Culture and Organization Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, said: “For us, diversity, equity and inclusion are values that are embedded in the way we work and framing our strategy. The recognition and engagement of our people, in addition to the external certifications obtained, reinforce that we are evolving in the right direction.”
Among the clearest signs of this journey is the renewal, in 2025, of the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, issued by DNV and promoted by the Italian Government in implementation of Law 162/2021. The certification confirms compliance with the guidelines on gender equality and the measurement of specific KPIs in achieving related objectives.
To support parenthood, with the signing of the latest Supplementary Company Agreement, the company has provided for an increase in the company’s financial top-up for parental leave, encouraging shared participation in childcare. Since 2022, the percentage of fathers making use of parental leave has increased by more than 10%. To support work-life balance, the recent supplementary labour agreement introduced also greater flexibility in working hours.
The culture of DE&I is also fostered through continuous training and awareness-raising, with modules dedicated to diversity, inclusion, inclusive language and unconscious bias. The company has also introduced training modules dedicated to the prevention of gender-based violence, together with a specific focus on the promotion of a speak-up culture through a series of practical workshops.
Lambo Talks and Lambo Podcast regularly bring expert voices from the field into the company, making these themes part of an open and shared conversation. This commitment also extends to the local area: Automobili Lamborghini is among the founding members of the Rete CapoD network (Community of Companies for Equal Opportunities), the community established in 2019 and now made up of eight companies from the Bologna area, including Automobili Lamborghini, with the aim of promoting and spreading a culture of gender equality, which it has led since 2024, and has contributed to the creation of the Gender and Diversity Empowerment Committee together with MUNER – Motorvalley University of Emilia-Romagna and other companies in the sector.
Automobili Lamborghini’s is a journey that involves the entire organisation, built on structured policies, measurement tools and ongoing dialogue. It is a model that does not focus on isolated initiatives, but on building over time a company culture in which diversity, equity and inclusion are part of the working environment.
