Celebrating Automobili Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary in Taipei

Lamborghini gala night and Esperienza Giro held in Taiwan along with the revealing of an exclusive commissioned art piece

Taipei, 8 December 2023 – In the marque’s 60^th anniversary year, over 350 passionate Lamborghini owners and partners across Taiwan gathered at Taipei City Center for an extravagant Lamborghini Night. Upon arrival at the Gala dinner, guests were transported through a time tunnel before being greeted by a stunning display of Huracán Tecnica[1] 60^th anniversary edition in Grigio Telesto exterior colour. The celebration pays tribute to Lamborghini’s legendary V12 heritage with an exclusive commissioned art piece, titled LL60, created by Taiwanese artist group LuxuryLogico, where esteemed guests were treated to a visual feast witnessing the unveiling of the special kinetic sculpture.

The celebration continued the next morning with a spectacular convoy of Lamborghini super sports cars and super SUVs gathered at Lamborghini Taipei Showroom for the flag-off of the highly anticipated Esperienza Giro Taiwan. This year’s Esperienza Giro Taiwan saw more than 150 Lamborghini owners and partners embarked on an unforgettable journey exploring the breathtaking Eastern Coastal of the island. 

Over three captivating days, the largest convoy of 70 Lamborghini super sports cars and super SUVs to date traversed some of Taiwan’s most scenic landscapes on winding mountainous roads, driving through the lush greens of the Yilan Plain, and the spectacular Su-Hua Roadway and the stunning marbles at the Taroko Gorge, highlighting the ‘fun-to-drive’ experience that Lamborghini customers greatly appreciate. Besides enjoying the vibrant driving routes, participants at the Esperienza Giro Taiwan were taken on a sensorial journey discovering a variety of local gourmet including the freshest ingredients grown and harvested at Yilan plain and authentic cuisine of the indigenous tribe, reflecting the abundant history and culture of Formosa. 

Celebrating 60th Anniversary of Lamborghini through the language of art

The commissioned kinetic sculpture created by LuxuryLogical embodied the term ‘Super Line’ or ‘Hyper Flow’ to create an artwork titled LL60, is dedicated to the 60th anniversary celebration of Lamborghini. Using key design cues that often seen on Lamborghini super sports cars, the geometric design and wings of the art piece resonate the aerodynamic elements. Consisting of 12 pairs of mechanical wings that reflect the symbolic V12 engine, the winged creation moves rhythmically which mimics the varying acceleration and powerful performance of Lamborghini cars. It also symbolizes the continuous evolvement of the brand, creating icons of unique style, technology and performance which have inspired generations of people by sharing its DNA and values since its founding year in 1963.
