Sant’Agata Bolognese, June 1, 2021 – Automobili Lamborghini announces the appointment of Paolo Gabrielli as Chief Procurement Officer, responsible for managing relationships with a complex chain of suppliers. His appointment comes at a crucial time of upcoming transformation for Lamborghini, following the announcement of the “Direzione Cor Tauri” plan to decarbonize the product range and the Sant’Agata Bolognese production site.
Paolo Gabrielli, born in Mantua in 1976, obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Milan Polytechnic and a Master’s in Business Administration at SDA Bocconi. In 2000 he joined the Fiat Research and Development Center, then moved to the VW Group and later to Porsche Italy as the technical support manager.
In 2011 he joined Lamborghini, where he was named Head of After Sales. In 2014 he established Lamborghini Polo Storico, the department that is responsible for preserving the heritage of the House of Sant’Agata Bolognese, including the restoration and certification of all classic cars and the reconstruction of spare parts for classic Lamborghini models, as well as the conservation and management of the company archives.
In his new position, Paolo Gabrielli succeeds Federico Foschini, who was appointed Chief Marketing & Sales Officer of Lamborghini in March 2021.
