Lambo Love In Indonesia For 2015's Fourth Asian Super Trofeo Race Weekend

RELEASE DATE: 01 Sep 2015
Legendary Italian super sports car maker Automobili Lamborghini and the Swiss watchmaker with a passion for excellence, Blancpain, are set to partner again for another exciting race weekend at the Sentul International Circuit, Indonesia. This year marks the second time the now well established Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia series returns to Indonesia since the series' inception. The previous round in Malaysia saw the Huracán's street racing ability showcased at the unprecedented and hugely successful Kuala Lumpur City Grand Prix. This time veteran racers and new competitors will take to the International Circuit in Sentul for another chance to test their skills on a world famous racing circuit.

The Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo will be taken to its limits for the first time on the renowned Indonesian track, sporting a number of short straights and eleven corners. Though the circuit is known for its tight turns, the track is fairly wide, allowing many opportunities for overtaking. The combination makes for a very exciting motorsport venue. In addition to the weekend's racing lineup, a stunning Lamborghini owners' parade will be held at the circuit, certain to be a true display of contemporary automotive art in motion.

The race weekend in Sentul will be followed in October by the semi-final in Shanghai, before heading to the America's Sebring for the World Final in November. In the last round, the winning competitors from the European, American and Asian series will race head to head for the final podium.
