Sant'Agata Bolognese/Karelia, Russia, September 30, 2020 – Esperienza Dinamica embraced the picturesque Republic of Karelia between 16 and 19 September. A convoy of nine Super SUV Urus carved its way through captivating landscapes, pristine nature, and unique locations of Northern Europe. The route ran through more than 760 km of highways, mountain passes and off-road routes.
The action-packed program started at a new race track, Igora Drive. Expedition participants put the unparalleled dynamics of the Urus to the test and gained a unique driving experience in the Lamborghini Super SUV, with models available boasting a variety of vivid colors: Giallo Auge yellow, Verde Hydra green, Blu Eleos, Blu Astraeus, Grigio Lynx, Grigio Nimbus Matt and the dark Grigio Keres, which includes colors from the new Lamborghini Pearl and Graphite Capsule collections. The guests were also presented with the unique Huracán EVO GT Celebration with a tribute racing-style livery evoking the brand's triumphs at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. The livery stands out with the combination of Verde Egeria green and Arancio Aten orange.
The vivid caravan of Urus Super SUVs started its route at the racetrack and headed north to the true pearl of mesmerizing Karelia — the famous Lake Ladoga. On the second day, their starting point was the rocky shore of Cape Taruniemi. The first challenge on route to the Tolvajärvi landscape reserve was a gravel road and water obstacles where participants had to cross a ford driving Lamborghini Urus. The Super SUVs passed by centuries-old woodlands, protected lakes, and marble cliffs to successfully reach the northernmost point of the route. From there, they headed west towards Vyartsilya, a unique settlement located near the Finland border. Having completed a large off-road loop and traveled for over 760 km, the Urus expedition finished their journey at the starting point.
"Last year Russia's first Lamborghini expedition to Altai was a great success, so we decided to take this wonderful tradition to Karelia. Here we've complemented the high-speed tracks, gravel, and unsurfaced roads with an amazing racetrack, parts of rally routes and even fords. Urus doesn't cease to amaze our expedition participants with its lightness, power, and comfort that helped to overcome all areas of the incredibly picturesque route in Karelia. The Lamborghini Urus debuted two years ago and accounts for around half the company's sales. Consistent demand for our Super SUVs, with a growing range of colors and customisation options means we continue to manufacture Urus to our customers’ exacting specifications, with every Urus delivered clearly a Lamborghini Super SUV in its design, the personalized color and trim choices, and of course outstanding handling and performance in every environment,” noted Konstantin Sychev, Head of Lamborghini Eastern Europe and CIS .
Lamborghini Urus features a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 650 hp at 6,000 rpm (maximum 6,800 rpm) and producing maximum torque of 850 Nm at 2,250 rpm. With 162.7 hp/l the Urus claims one of the highest specific power outputs in its class and the best weight-to-power ratio at 3,38 kg/hp. The Urus accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 12,8 seconds and with a top speed of 305 km/h, it is one of the fastest Super SUVs available.
The ANIMA selector adapts the settings to the chosen driving mode.
