Five events on the agenda at most prestigious circuits in Europe
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 28 February 2023 – Lamborghini Squadra Corse has unveiled the full 2023 calendar for its Essenza SCV12 Club, the purest track experience, which will feature five stops at circuits across Europe.
First revealed to the public in 2020, the 830 hp Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 track-only machine will be available to customers for dedicated ‘arrive and drive’ sessions between June and November.
The first stop on the calendar will be in the south of France on the opening weekend of June, at the Circuit Paul Ricard before moving onto the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, running on the same bill as the stand-out GT3 endurance race of the year, the CrowdStrike Spa 24 Hours.
A month later, the Nürburgring in Germany will be the third venue on the agenda for 2023, while the Circuit Barcelona de Catalunya is the penultimate stop.
The final chance to take part in the purest track experience will be at the season-closing Lamborghini Grand Finals, which will be held at the Vallelunga circuit outside of Rome, Italy.
During each two-day events, assistance will be provided by the Squadra Corse technical team as part of the Essenza SCV12 programme. Customers will also benefit of track time as well as bespoke driver coaching from Lamborghini Squadra Corse test driver Raffaele Giammaria and Lamborghini Factory Drivers. Additional services include unique italian hospitality supplied by Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
The Essenza SCV12 is a naturally aspirated V12 track-only hypercar which produces an output of 830 hp and a maximum downforce of 1,200Kg at 250Km/h. The sequential six-speed machine has a fully carbon fibre chassis with added structural reinforcement that acting as a roll cage. Complete with ABS brakes, push rod suspension and magnesium rims, the Essenza SCV12 is a track-oriented vehicle.
