The most versatile and fun-to-drive Super SUV embarks on a journey through idyllic landscapes of the Southern Yangtze region
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Hangzhou, 17 September 2025 – With the Urus SE[1] at the forefront, Automobili Lamborghini debuted Esperienza Terra in China for the first time, inviting guests to immerse themselves in pure Italian luxury on an exclusive journey through the Southern Yangtze region. A fleet of Urus SE models journeyed from Hangzhou's metropolis through Moganshan's winding passes to mist-shrouded bamboo forests of Anji — blending the incredible performance with breathtaking landscapes.
“With this event, we invited our guests to embark on an exceptional journey and experience the unparalleled driving exhilaration of the Urus SE.” said Konstantin Sychev, Managing Director of Automobili Lamborghini Chinese mainland, Hong Kong & Macao. “Thanks to its advanced powertrain, the Urus SE excels in every environment. From city streets to winding mountain passes, it delivers higher performance with lower emissions, ensuring absolute comfort— the ultimate companion for any journey.”
Across the curated seven-day journey, three groups of participants experienced the Urus SE with effortless refinement — from Hangzhou’s vibrant urban core to the serene slopes of Moganshan and the tranquil bamboo groves of Anji. On highways, valley roads, and mountain passes, the Super SUV transformed each transition into a seamless flow, capturing the essence of Southern Yangtze region through the lens of Italian grand touring.
Beyond the drive, each day of exploration culminated in culinary experiences, highlighted by the authentic ambiance of an Italian-inspired retreat nestled within the forest. Guests savored coffee with panoramic mountain views and capturing the Urus SE’s elegance against the backdrop of Anji’s lush bamboo sea — evoking the essence of a wild luxury resort. Each experience reflected the Italian lifestyle philosophy “la dolce vita” through refined hospitality.
The Urus created the Super SUV segment and now the Urus SE continues to push boundaries to remain the reference in the segment. Featuring a new design, optimized aerodynamics, unprecedented on-board technology and an 800 CV hybrid powertrain, the Urus SE redefines comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions and driving pleasure. As the first hybrid plug-in version of the Lamborghini Super SUV, it is equipped with a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine and electric motor to enhance driving dynamics and boost performance, delivering a total output of 800 CV and a total torque of 950 Nm. The hybrid powertrain enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h, powering best-in-class performance from every angle. The result is outstanding driving dynamics and a more engaging, agile, and responsive experience, proving electrification as a performance enhancer.
The Urus SE also embodies the pinnacle of versatility in the Super SUV segment. Cruising through Hangzhou's urban landscape, Hybrid mode combined with Strada mode ensures maximum efficiency and comfort, achieving the perfect balance between combustion engine and the electric innovation. Navigating on demanding mountain trails, Performance and Corsa modes unleash the full potential of the vehicle, elevating agility and dynamic capability to new heights.
Marking two decades in the Chinese market, Esperienza Terra celebrates Lamborghini’s Italian passion and reaffirms the brand’s commitment to an electrified future — while continuing to deliver the unmistakable Italian essence to China’s enthusiasts
