Dynamic Launch of Lamborghini Huracán EVO at Moscow Raceway

RELEASE DATE: 25 Jun 2019   |   Sant’Agata Bolognese/Moscow
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Moscow, June 25, 2019 – The Huracán EVO made its dynamic debut at the Moscow Raceway on June 24. The guests participated in a variety of exercises and test drives on the racetrack, accompanied by instructors of Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The super sports car was first presented during its European premiere in Moscow on February 7, 2019.

The guests could test the next generation V10 super sports car to experience true dynamic performance on the track, and explore the car’s new technology in the paddock. The event was joined by the flagship Lamborghini Aventador SVJ in white Bianco Phanes, the Aventador S in sky-blue Blu Nila, the SSUV Urus in white Bianco Icarus and the Huracán Perfomante in yellow Giallo Inti.

The Huracán EVO features new Lamborghini rear-wheel steering and a torque vectoring system working on the four wheels, while at the heart of the car is the new feature, Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI): a Central Processing Unit that controls every aspect of the car’s dynamic behavior, fully integrating all the car’s dynamic systems and set-up to anticipate the next move and needs of the driver, interpreting this into perfect driving dynamics.

Improved aerodynamics provides superior handling confidence. A unique design and new components work together to improve downforce and aerodynamic efficiency more than six times over the first generation Huracán.
“The Huracán EVO leads the advance to the highest level of super sports car technologies and driving emotion. Its arrival will further strengthen our market presence in Russia,” said Konstantin Sychev, Head of Lamborghini Eastern Europe and CIS.

The Huracán EVO features the 5.2 l naturally-aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine, uprated to produce higher power output and an emotional and powerful sound, with Titanium intake valves and a refined exhaust system. The engine outputs 640 hp (470 kW) at 8,000 rpm with 600 N·m of torque delivered at 6,500 rpm. With a dry weight of 1,422 kg, the Huracán EVO reaches a weight‑to‑power ratio of 2.22 kg/hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 s and from 0 to 200 km/h in 9.0 s. Braking from 100 km/h to 0 is achieved in just 31.9 m, with a top speed of 325 km/h.

The car prices in Russia start from 16,380,164 rubles including VAT. The first customers will take delivery of the Lamborghini Huracán EVO in October 2019.
