Automobili Lamborghini officially opens Germany's largest showroom in Frankfurt

RELEASE DATE: 17 Oct 2019   |   Sant’Agata Bolognese/Frankfurt
Sant’Agata Bolognese/Frankfurt October 17, 2019 – Six years following the successful opening of Lamborghini Frankfurt, Automobili Lamborghini is now celebrating the company's expansion. The showroom, including its services is moving from the Klassikstadt, a center for classic cars, to the neighboring industrial park Cassellapark and is expanding more than threefold. This makes Lamborghini Frankfurt the largest showroom in Germany in the new corporate design with a one-of-a-kind architecture. Owner Rainer Dörr celebrated the opening together with representatives of Automobili Lamborghini.

Around 300 guests accepted Lamborghini Frankfurt's invitation and attended the event at Cassellapark yesterday evening. A splendid opening ceremony and a showroom that is unparalleled in Germany awaited them. Visitors to Lamborghini Frankfurt can look forward to the stylish interplay of a historic brick building modernized with glass on an area totaling nearly 1300 square meters – of which around 460 are in the showroom and around 600 in the workshop and additional space for the warehouse. Five models of the Italian luxury brand from Sant'Agata Bolognese are currently on display in the elegant showroom that is flooded with an abundance of natural light. They include the Huracán EVO, which was designed with the Huracán Performante's exceptional driving dynamics and is equipped with state-of-the-art driving dynamics control or the Lamborghini Urus, the first super SUV from the Lamborghini family. It is a genuine Lamborghini in terms of design, performance, driving dynamics and emotions. What's more, it is suitable for everyday use in any situation.

Andrea Baldi, CEO EMEA of Automobili Lamborghini, made a personal appearance at the opening of the new showroom in Frankfurt's Ostend district. "The Lamborghini brand appeal is steadily growing. Thanks to successful products offered in more segments than ever before, we’re expanding in every sense and Lamborghini Frankfurt’s new showroom strongly reflects this. It was logical for our partner to invest in such a state-of-the-art facility while implementing the new corporate design to even further emphasize the beautiful result," said Andrea Baldi. "We’re sure we couldn’t ask for a better home in Frankfurt".

Moreover, the team surrounding owner Rainer Dörr offers the entire portfolio of Automobili Lamborghini, including Ad Personam, i.e. the customization program that allows you to design your vehicle entirely to your personal specifications, professional advice with cutting-edge technical features, including leasing or financing options. The team also offers services in a workshop designed to meet the state-of-the-art requirements. Lamborghini Frankfurt also has its own car detailing service.

Exactly six years ago Automobili Lamborghini approached Rainer Dörr to bring the brand back to the river Main. Since then, the number of Lamborghini prospective customers and buyers from Frankfurt and the entire Rhine-Main region has been steadily on the rise. "We are noticing a growing interest in the Lamborghini brand and an increasing number of young entrepreneurs are fulfilling the desire to own a Lamborghini. That is why we are investing in the brand and believe in the location," says Rainer Dörr. "We also have a very good and important partner in Automobili Lamborghini who appreciates the commitment of the whole team". Automobili Lamborghini just entrusted the business owner back in July with the brand in the capital Berlin, where it got off to a very good start.

Prospective Lamborghini customers have a young and proven team ready to assist them at Cassellastraße 30-32 in Frankfurt. The team includes well-known, familiar faces of the Dörr Group, such as Denise Gugerell who works as site manager, Simon Payer as sales manager and Riccardo Grund as after-sales manager. General Manager Evelyn Dörr, wife of Rainer Dörr and member of the management board, is always personally available for customers. The Lamborghini Frankfurt team consists of 13 employees.

For Automobili Lamborghini, Germany is the second largest market in the EMEA region. Automobili Lamborghini delivered a record 5,750 vehicles worldwide in 2018, the year when the Lamborghini Urus celebrated its market launch. This was instrumental in setting a new record for the first six months of 2019, when global deliveries increased by 96% reaching 4,553 vehicles. This result reflects a 67% increase in EMEA sales to 1,826 units delivered to customers.
